How To Use HTML Preview?

HTML Preview is a free online HTML, CSS and JavaScript editor with instant preview. There's no need to install any program, it runs in your browser on the client-side without your code leaving your computer. It's the perfect simplified JsFiddle alternative

Copy-paste your existing code in the editors or start composing with the syntax-highlighted workspace. When finished, and your preview is as desired just save the code on your hard drive, using a native code editor, like Notepad++ or copy it into your CMS. Remember to keep a backup because your documents will be lost every time you refresh or leave our website.

Emmet

HTML Preview supports Emmet, which is a productivity tool for web developers that enhances their workflow by allowing them to write HTML, XML, CSS, and other markup languages more quickly and efficiently. It enables developers to use shorthand expressions, similar to CSS syntax, to generate code snippets dynamically.

With Emmet, developers can write abbreviations or shortcuts that expand into full HTML or CSS code when triggered. This approach saves time by reducing the need to manually write repetitive code and streamlining the process of creating complex markup structures.

Some key features of Emmet include:

  1. Dynamic Expansion: Emmet abbreviations are dynamically expanded into full code snippets based on the context and content of the abbreviation.

  2. CSS-like Syntax: Emmet uses a syntax similar to CSS selectors, making it intuitive for developers familiar with CSS.

  3. Versatility: While optimized for HTML/XML and CSS, Emmet can also be used with other programming languages, enhancing productivity across various web development tasks.

  4. Customization: Developers can customize and extend Emmet with their own snippets and abbreviations to suit their specific workflow and coding preferences.
