How To Use HTML Preview?

HTML Preview is a free online HTML, CSS and JavaScript editor with instant preview. There's no need to install any program, it runs in your browser on the client-side without your code leaving your computer. It's the perfect simplified JsFiddle alternative

Copy-paste your existing code in the editors or start composing with the syntax-highlighted workspace. When finished, and your preview is as desired just save the code on your hard drive, using a native code editor, like Notepad++ or copy it into your CMS. Remember to keep a backup because your documents will be lost every time you refresh or leave our website.

Run JS

Execute the Javascript code manually when the "Auto Run JS" is disabled. It's recommended to use this to avoid the page refreshing after every script amendment.

Library

Add custom HTML, CSS or JS library with a click button. This is very useful when you are working with popular HTML, CSS and Javascript bibrary like Bootstrap, uikit, Material Design Lite, jQuery, jQueryUI and others.

Settings

Customize the editor with the checkboxes in this dropdown. Auto run the Javascript, set word wrap, auto close tags and outline the DOM elements in the preview.

Auto Run JS. Enabled by default, this feature automatically executes your JavaScript code and you don't have to run it manually.
Word Wrap. Disabled by default, the word wrap breaks the long lines in the code editor to avoid scrollbars.
Auto Close Tags. Write the first tag, and the closing tag would be created for you automatically.
Highlight DOM Elements. Layer mode in the preview panel would be highlighted.

Preview Size

Work with any size preview window. Add your custom width and height in the input box. This is useful to test your code through mobile viewport.
